Elfquest — one of my earliest introductions to concepts like the graphic novel, open marriage, fan-fiction, and wolf-elf hybrids — has announced a movie! Again. For the third or fourth time since 1978. Hey, maybe it’ll get made this time around. These are some of my most favorite books ever, in all their technicolor, elves-wolves-swords, 70s-hippie awesomeness.

I went camping this weekend - it’s good to get out into the big wild world and remember there is more to the universe than people and cities. But I’m also glad there’s people in the world to love it ….
